AI-visibility audit questions by business type

Different businesses need different buyer questions and evidence checks. These examples show how an audit can be adapted; they are not Akrux client case studies or promised outcomes.

Local businesses

Local discovery usually combines a service or category with a city, district, opening need or practical constraint. Audit questions should check whether the correct business appears, which nearby alternatives recur, and whether answers rely on the business website, maps, directories or editorial sources.

Name, service, city, service-area and contact consistency are especially important. The dedicated local-business guide covers Kazakhstan-specific review steps in more detail.

Examples

  • “Recommend a coffee shop in Almaty for a quiet meeting.”
  • “Which dental clinic in Astana offers weekend appointments?”

Ecommerce

Product-discovery answers can mix a manufacturer, product, retailer and marketplace. Review category and purchase questions separately, check whether availability or specifications are current, and do not treat every marketplace as a competing brand.

Useful evidence includes current product pages, delivery or warranty information and truthful third-party reviews. Akrux exposes returned citations but does not ingest a private product feed or guarantee that generated availability information is current.

Examples

  • “Compare refillable skincare brands available in Kazakhstan.”
  • “Where can I buy a compact espresso machine with a local warranty?”

Professional services

Expertise-led services are often discovered through specialty, location, eligibility and trust. Review names, service scope, locations and any material credentials against current authoritative sources, and do not treat generated legal, medical or financial text as professional advice.

The audit records prompts, sampled answers, entities, positions and citations. It does not validate professional qualifications or certify an answer; sensitive facts require a competent human review.

Examples

  • “Which firms handle cross-border tax for small exporters?”
  • “Find a clinic in Almaty offering the stated service.”

SaaS and digital products

Discovery often begins with a workflow, audience, integration or alternative rather than the product name. Compare unbranded category and alternative prompts with the current product definition, documentation, availability and dated comparison criteria.

Old names, conflicting homepage and documentation claims, or unsupported feature statements can make the product harder to resolve. The audit can show which public sources an answer used, but it does not prove product-market fit or automate changes.

Examples

  • “Which tools track brand appearances in AI-generated answers?”
  • “Compare tools for reviewing competitor recommendations in AI search.”

Shared starting point

  • Define the exact business entity and aliases.
  • Use prompts grounded in actual services and customer needs.
  • Review the answer and citations, not only the score.
  • Separate model variability from correctable source gaps.
  • Treat every later audit as a fresh dated sample, not proof that one change caused the result.
